I had to stop and take a picture of the weird clouds I saw while walking to work this morning.
So there you go, weird clouds.
We visited Alcove Spring, which is along the Oregon Trail, this Sunday. It was the second time I’d visited. It has been a wet spring so the spring is more substantial than normal.
N had lots of fun climbing up and down the rocks in her pink boots.
A couple of other springs meet up with the main channel, this one creeps out from under the hill.

Have I mentioned this has been a beautiful spring? Because it has been. And spring has been happening for over one whole month now. I keep thinking I’ve been transported somewhere else, like maybe Pennsylvania. And there are very few complaints coming out of people’s mouths because the main things that Kansans complain about are . . .

It just depends on the year cause in normal years there are only two seasons in Kansas, Hot and Cold. We are minimalists, we don’t need any extra seasons especially sissy seasons like spring and fall that leave you with nothing to complain about. Now that we are actually having an actual spring with actual pleasant rain everyone is in awe. They wander around staring at the leaves and say things like: “It is just sooooooo green.” And then they get lost in thought, entranced by the greenness. I’m sure there’s been an uptick traffic accidents, because how is one supposed to drive when it is green?

All the Verdant Greenness
